Brazilian Italia Grapes - Production

This traditonal seeded grape has a "signature" flavor and fragance, it is juicy and a prefered one for jellies, sweeties and several recipes on most of world markets, from Europe to Australia, from Middle East to Russia, the Italia Grape can be found on kitchen and production lines.

The productive cycle is about 120 days, and average productivity of 30 ton /hectare/year and can reach up to 50 ton/ha/year in well managed vineyards. Bunches are big, with average weight range from 300g up to 450g, cylindrical-conical format, prolonged, winged and very compact, with good resistance to the transport and storage. Berries are big - from 8g to 12g -, oval, with average diameter between 22-24mm and green to yellowish-green color variation. Juicy and fleshy with a slightly muscatel flavor. The crop goes from April to May and from October to December but can be produced all year, since there is programming of prunning for crops in other months if needed.
